3. Installing the Server

The server executable, ASFnode, may be installed anywhere, e.g. /usr/local/bin. The server requires a working directory that has two subdirectories, conf/ and logs/. For example, you may have a directory called /usr/ASFnode which has two subdirectories /usr/ASFnode/conf and /usr/ASFnode/logs. The conf directory should contain a single file called ASFnode.conf, described later in this document. The remainder of this document will assume these locations as the default installation.
